Lorie Moody brings a wealth of civilian and military experience to her role as Vice President of Contracts at Robbins Gioia (RG). Prior to joining RG, Lorie worked in a diverse range of industries, including the legal, government relations, military, communications, and IT fields. She served as the Director of Business Support at Robbins Gioia before moving on to her current position.
Throughout a 27 year career in the U.S. Marine Corps, during which she achieved the rank of Colonel and honed her skills in communication systems development and maintenance, Lorie also held numerous positions at NASA. While simultaneously working towards her J.D. through the organization's highly selective advanced degree education program, she worked as an International Program Specialist. Upon attaining her degree, Lorie began her law career at NASA. Additionally, she served as Chief of the Government and External Relations Division at the Ames Research Center, gaining critical experience in acting as the main point of contact.
In 2011, Lorie came to Robbins Gioia from CACI, where she managed the IT firm's U.S. Marine Corps account. Lorie perfected her management skills while serving as the Acting Managing Director for Purdue University's Office of the Executive Vice President for Business and Finance. She has also worked as an Attorney for The Parker Group. Lorie has a J.D. from the Catholic University of America's Columbus School of Law and a bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
